My Brother, My Hero
I am so proud of him.
My brother Upiq. My hero.
He participated in the Kapas-Marang Swimathon 2009 last Sunday. I tried finding some info about the event but the main website is down for upgrading. Click here for news. From the information I gathered, the distance was 6.5km from Pulau Kapas to Pulau Kelutut, Marang.
I was informed (still waiting for personal interview :P) that he didn’t complete the race due to rough sea and bad weather. He swam for about 5km in total. Not bad eh? Not bad? Say that again, it was a GREAT achievement!!!! Swimming 5km in open sea for the first time!!! I still cannot believe that he did it. I wish I could see him in action. Well done, bro!
You showed that if you put your heart into something, you can do it and nothing is impossible.
You are truly my inspiration and hero.
