Mama's Birthday Lunch
Okay, so my plan to spend the day with Mama and Papa didn't turn out like what I expected. haha. I took the day off ya know, to spend quality time with them and without the usual crowds on weekends and with them alone. I ended up going lunch with Mama Papa, and my nephews - Imran, Adam and Faiq (yes, was just discharged from the hospital yesterday haha). Kak Tine met us in the Curve, since her office is just few blocks away from the Curve. But this is how a big and close family like. hehehe. the more the merrier!

We had lunch at Marche Movenpick, The Curve. At first, I thought I want to try the Waroeng Penyet of the famous Ayam Penyet but then I thought again, my parents never been to Marche before, so this is the chance for me to bring them. Mama and Papa seemed fascinated with the concept. I have been there a few times and I like the environment. Foodwise, it was just okay nothing to shout about but I love their soups. Price wise, you have to pandai2 la pilih your food. hhehehe. Anyway, I had 1/2 roast chicken with gravy, mama had a chicken cheese sausage, mixed salad and mushroom soup with roll, papa had the lunch special, chicken breast with mashed potatoes and soft drink (for RM12.90 nice eh). We had creme caramel for dessert. Kak Tine had the roast chicken too, Imran had pepperoni pizza and mushroom soup, Adam had the kid's special and Faiq had some of our roast chicken. The boys had ice cream too and Kak tine had the bread pudding.

After lunch, we just walked around the Curve, Kak Tine went back to her office. Mama got tired and want to sit somewhere so we let the boys play at the slides on the second floor, watching them while Papa went to the bookstores, as usual. You know that you'll get tired easily when you go out with kids? Hahah so that was what I was feeling. So after Papa finished his browsing at Borders and MPH, we just went home.
Mama and Papa seemed like they enjoyed their lunch. Well, hope they liked it.
I think Mama looked happy too. Happy birthday Mama. Love you!
