One Fine Day
Been busy these few days. I am still under Twilight fever. Still wanting to see the movie, again! Not sure when, but my cousins said they wanted to see, so I might see with them. lol.
As a distraction, I went to a workshop today, called The Legal Aspects of Joint Ventures, Mergers & Acquistion and Privatization. Sounds fancy eh? I didnt understand anything the speaker said. LOL. I couldnt really concentrate.. he was such a bore and totally lack in organisation and focus. Oh well, his handouts and materials were very good though. I think I'll just read it on my own. So anyway, the best thing about today was the venue for the workshop. It was held at Carcosa Seri Negara, in the midst of the lush greens of KL, at the Taman Tasik Perdana. If not because of this workshop, I am not sure if I would ever have the chance of dining there.
For the first time in my life, I had the chance to taste french cuisine. Hmm very fancy setting on the plate.. just like what I saw on tv.. those little spots of food. lol. Suprisingly, I was full despite the teeny weeny portion of little spots of food. lol. I am not too sure if I would order those again, if I have the chance to dine there in the future.. but it wasnt bad. Maybe my tastebuds need "fine" tuning. lol. But the bread pudding served for breakfast and coffee break wassss delishhhhhhhh!!! I LIKE!
So anyway, I had a good time (despite my tummy ache - i got sensitive tummy, hence many trips to the ladies) with my colleagues from my department, Pootz and Gorgezz and also a couple of friends from Finance Department.
I ended up the day by accompanying my buddy D to Midvalley, shopping for a dress for her annual dinner function at the end of the month. She bought a really cool dress from Zara and we had a really satisying dinner at Flying Chillies, a Thai restaurant at the Gardens.
A day well spent, I'd say.
Piccies time!!! I didn't take much though, a bit shy today. ;))
Me in the "Dining Room"
The dessert was the only pic I have of the food. My friend G, took this cuz i was too shy to snap ;)
Me at the entrance of the Langkasuka building.
Such a nice place...would love to go there again, maybe an english afternoon tea? Anyone?
