32 Candles

You know why I love December right? Yeahhh.. because of the xmas season and of couse my birthday!! HEHEHEHEHEHE

On days like birthday, I feel blessed and lucky that I have so many people in my life, that really care about me and love me. During days like birthdays, you know that you mean something to other people, and they really appreciate you being in their life, that they want to celebrate you on your birthday.

I love birthdays. I love my birthdays, I love other people birthdays. It is such joyful day, to have live the life God gave us, to experience this world.. and to always cherish and thankful to God, for keeping our time here a little bit longer.

So on 11th December 2009, I turned 32.

However, the celebration started a little bit early, a couple of hours before midnite because the nephews and my sis in law were too sleepy already.. heheheh I was as usual, facebooking and chatting when I heard hush voices outside the room and candle glow behind the curtain at the door. hehehehe.

Then, this greeted me at work that morning:

Then I had dinner with the Ain & Gang, and the theme was POLKA DOT! How cool was that? We had dinner at Carlos Mexicana, Pavilion.

The next day, I had a simple lunch with my family - Papa, mama, Yong, Upiq, Faiq, Aira, Dik & Jemi at Cozy Corner, Ampang Park. I thought it was just normal lunch, until I saw a waiter (spoiler) came on to bring a cake. lol. I was like er... was that for me? Hahaha. kantoi. Thank you belanja Upiq.. i lebiu.. heheheh

Then... few days later.. the Chill Squad session... something different this time, we had dinner at Hj Shahrin Low Restaurant in Bukit Antarabangsa, a chinese muslim seafood restaurant. The restaurant was still new, so the place was practically empty when we came. I told my cousins and bro, I was so touched that you booked the whole restaurant all for me!! HAHAHAHAHAHAA. kidding ok! anyway, the food was nice, I had Roasted Duck for the first time (the ownver said that they have to pump up the duck before roasting, to ensure crispiness of the skin aaaahh).

Then we continue to Old Town Kopitiam Ampang for drinks and my cousins asked me to open up my gift.

Thennnnnn came the office celebration... in my department, there are 4 people that were born in December - myself, Pootz, Shaf & Kak N. Look at our cake!!! sponsored by our boss, ok? Erm. hehehe. Since it was the festive season, we all love the xmas deco, so, look at our cake, special ordered!!!!

Notice the red part under my nose. Yeah.. I had cold about a week before the redness appeared and then it looked like some kind of infection. I went to see the doc, and he said that it was "herpes simplex" something about related to chicken pox/shingles family. I had this before once wayy back in 2004.. then i had another one in 2008. The doc said that it is triggered by stress. Note that again, TRIGGERED BY STRESS. It doesnt look nice, it hurts and made my nose looks like rudolph for the most part of my birthday month! ugh! and in this pic, it is already recovering.. it was much much worst before. oh and btw, so that you know, I am not pregnant, and that is not a maternity top ok! Ms Read some moreee.. It's the fashion and It happened to be one of my fave top. Thank you. :P AND on the right, yeah thats my boss :P

Then, party with my girlies, on new year's day. We went to karaoke at Red Box Plus, Pavilion, and tea at Dome. I had fun, and it was nice to celebrate the new year, with my best friends. thanks girls!! Love ya'll.

And, I guess my birthday celebration ends with a slumber party with my dear old friends, my roomies during college, at Hani's very nice apartment. We had fun catching up, felt like the old days.. we should do this more often girls. We also celebrated Hani's belated birthday (her bday was in November) and I baked us carrot cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. hehehee.



So, that was my birthday for 2009. I thank all of you, love you all for taking your time and effort celebrating me. And those of you who wishes me by calling, facebook, sms in any form of communication available these days, I love you too. The best gift for my birthday forever and always, is all of you, by having u all in my life. Thank you.

UPDATED 12/1/2010: new development, hehehe Tuya said my birthday doesn't end yet.. I still have one day out with her.. YEAY! Looking forward to it!!!
