Morning Stroll With My Bro
I woke up at 545am today. When I got a text from my brother last night, saying that he'll pick me up at 615am, i was like WTH was he thinking? He told me that he's going to bring me to the Lake Gardens, KL, I thought just the usual walk around the housing area.. so I guess the timing was alright and I was pretty excited about it.
So he came exactly at 615am, and we reached at the Lake Gardens, around 645am. Oh boy I was glad we started early, because it was beautiful.. the day is stuck between night and day, the sun has not risen, the lamps still on, but its not dark anymore. The air was clear.
We started walking, quite fast.. and I really enjoyed the quality time spent with my big bro. What suprised me was, I never thought I was in KL.. with the lush greens surrounded us... it was amazing, really. It was also the first time I went there. I thought we were the crazy ones.. but now to my suprise, there were a lot of people there, walking, jogging, doing taichi. Some came alone, some with families, from kids to old people.. this was really an eye opener. A place where u dont really need to spend any money, but you can have fun, spent good time with family.
I dont know the route we took, i just follow Upiq, but there were uphills and downhills, not just flatlands okay.. so it gets pretty intense all around.. it was pushing the limits for me on some of the tracks. we walked up and jogged lightly to descent. the tracks were pretty good there. so anyway, there was this LONGGGGG stairs and when abg fiq said.. JOM.. i was like.. WHAT? are you kidding me? he said... the speed/pace is not important, u can stop as many times you like. the aim is just to get up there. I was like okayyyyy.. so we climb. and climb. and I SURVIVED! i felt like Rocky. i would do that Rocky dance on top but i was so tired. hahahahaha.. so anyway, I think we walked about 5km, according to Upiq.. we started from Bukit Aman, up to Carcosa where i saw kl central and muzium negara, back to the lake then to the the planetarium, the bird park, Tun Razak memorial, Pusat Islam, Masjid Negara and back to Bukit Aman where we parked the car and it took us about 1 1/2 hours. Yeah.. the slow me. Upiq said it would take 30 minutes if we jogged. Like that going to happen. haahaahaha. Oh yes, on our way, near the Planetarium, we saw this structure from afar that looked so much like Stonehenge. As we came nearer, it was a replica of the Stonehenge. I never knew we had this. Who knows, Stonehenge in Kuala Lumpur. haha. Well, its "Stone Hence" LOL. typo. how can they make such mistake.
Morning well spent. Had a really great time. Really looking forward to do this again. Great acitivity with friends and family.
Here are some pics. I didnt take much cuz i was too busy breathing. LOL.

When we started, the lamps were still on
